Declares an intent to ensure that: (1) Student data is safeguarded; and

(2) Privacy of students and parents is honored, respected, and protected.

Authorizes the attorney general to bring an action in the name of the state, or on behalf of persons residing in the state, to restrain and prevent an act prohibited or declared to be unlawful in chapter 28A.604 RCW, the student user privacy in education rights act.
