EFFECT:   

Removes provisions related to criminal justice assistance accounts that provided that funding from the accounts could be used by recipient local governments to supplant existing funding through December 31, 2023.

Removes provisions related to criminal justice sales taxes that provided that use of revenue from the taxes for local government programs which have a reasonable relationship to reducing the numbers of people interacting with the criminal justice system would qualify as using the revenue for criminal justice purposes through December 31, 2023.
