On page 7, beginning on line 20, strike all of subsection (b)

Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

On page 7, after line 38, insert the following:

"(e) The provisions of subsection (2) of this section shall apply only after the tenant has resided at the same property for more than two years."

EFFECT:  Removes the provision providing that a landlord may terminate without cause a one-year tenancy at the end of the first year by providing 60 days' written notice and that such a tenancy will become a monthly periodic tenancy if 60 days' notice is not given. Adds that the provisions of terminating a tenancy for cause apply only after the tenant has resided at the same property for more than two years.
