On page 5, beginning on line 1, after "than" strike all material through "43.330.536" on line 2 and insert "((the state speed goals contained in RCW 43.330.536)) the speeds contained in the definition of broadband in RCW 43.330.530(2)"

On page 5, beginning on line 5, after "than" strike all material through "43.330.536" on line 6 and insert "((the state speed goals contained in RCW 43.330.536)) the speeds contained in the definition of broadband in RCW 43.330.530(2)"

EFFECT:   Requires a broadband service provider objecting to an application to the Public Works Board's broadband infrastructure

program to demonstrate that it provides, or has begun construction

and commits to providing, broadband service in the project area at

speeds equal to or greater those contained in the definition of broadband that applies to the State Broadband Office (25 megabits per second download and 3 upload) instead of speeds equal to or greater than the statutory state speed goals (ranging from 25 megabits per second download and 3 upload by 2024 to 150 megabits per second download and upload by 2028).
