On page 2, after line 26, insert the following:
"(6) The provisions in this section do not apply to a property in any year for which the total amount of property taxes due increased over the previous year by a percentage that exceeds inflation as defined in RCW 84.55.005."
On page 13, after line 19, insert the following:
"(h) The provisions in this subsection do not apply to a property in any year for which the total amount of property taxes due increased over the previous year by a percentage that exceeds inflation as defined in RCW 84.55.005."
| EFFECT: Provides an exemption from the landlord's notice requirements and the tenant's ability to terminate the tenancy in any year in which the property has had a property tax increase greater than inflation.
