On page 3, at the beginning of line 16, strike all material through "section.))" on line 18 and insert "(((3)))(4) A city or county that has adopted or substantively amended accessory dwelling unit regulations within the four years previous to June ((11, 2020))1, 2022, is not subject to the requirements of this section."
EFFECT: Exempts GMA cities or counties that have adopted or amended ADU regulations within the previous four years from the new ADU provisions under the bill.
