On page 3, after line 2, insert the following:
"A physician assistant, advanced registered nurse practitioner, or other health care provider acting within the provider's scope of practice may not terminate a pregnancy unless a physician is physically present during the procedure."
EFFECT: Prohibits physician assistants, advanced registered nurse practitioners, or other health care providers acting within the provider's scope of practice from terminating a pregnancy unless a physician is physically present during the procedure.
