On page 2, after line 4, insert the following:

"(iii) Home detention under (a) of this subsection may not be imposed for offenders convicted of a felony offense where the offender was armed with a firearm or deadly weapon in the commission of the offense."

EFFECT: Modifies eligibility for the graduated reentry program under subsection (1)(a) by excluding any offender with a conviction for any felony offense where he or she was armed with a firearm or deadly weapon in the commission of the offense.
