On page 5, after line 33, insert the following:

"(3) Nothing in this section shall be interpreted to relieve a party of the requirement to establish standing as provided in Washington case law when commencing an action under this title."

EFFECT: Clarifies that provisions permitting a voter, organization, or tribe to file an action under the Washington Voting Rights Act (WVRA) does not relieve a party of the requirement to establish standing when commencing a WVRA suit.
