On page 1, line 16, after "means" insert the following:

(A) Through the 2028 calendar year,"

On page 1, line 17, after "in the" strike "seasonally adjusted" and insert "((seasonally adjusted))"

On page 1, after line 21, insert the following:

"(B) Beginning in the 2029 calendar year, the implicit price

deflator for the fiscal year ending prior to the start of the calendar year."

EFFECT: Changes the inflation factor for the maximum per-pupil limit in the 2029 calendar year to the Implicit Price Deflator for the fiscal year ending prior to the start of the calendar year.

Strikes a reference to seasonally adjusted inflation, which does not apply to local measures of the Consumer Price Index.
