On page 2, line 4, after "section" strike "by July 1, 2024" and insert ", to take effect six months after the jurisdiction's next periodic comprehensive plan update required under RCW 36.70A.130"

EFFECT: (1) Changes the deadline for a city to adopt specific provisions for lot splitting from July 1, 2024, to six months after the jurisdiction's next comprehensive plan update.

(2) Requires each lot resulting from a lot split to be at least 2,000 square feet.

(3) Increases the maximum easement width a city may require for access to a rear lot that is the result of a lot split from four feet to five feet, unless site-specific conditions require wider easements.
