On page 2, beginning on line 23 of the striking amendment, after "contract" strike ", which must be no shorter than 25 years,"
On page 2, line 30 of the striking amendment, after "term." insert "The contract must be no shorter than 25 years, unless a system component has a warranty that is less than 25 years. If a system component has a warranty that is less than 25 years, the length of the contract must be the same as the length of the shortest warranty for a system component."
| EFFECT: Modifies the requirements for the length of a net metering contract between an electric utility and a customer by requiring the contract to be the same length as the shortest warranty for a system component, if a system component has a warranty less than 25 years. |
