On page 2, line 2, after "103 percent" insert ". If a district under this subsection (2)(a) levies an amount greater than 101 percent, any increase in assessed value in that district resulting from new construction shall not be added to the district's total levy"

EFFECT: Provides that if a district levies beyond the current 101 percent limit, any increases in assessed value from new construction will not be added to the district's levy.
