On page 25, after line 25, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 303. A new section is added to chapter 44.28 RCW to read as follows:

(1) The joint committee must conduct a review of the impacts of this act on the housing rental markets across the state by June 30, 2026, and report its findings to the legislature and the governor by December 1, 2026. The report must be prepared in the manner set forth in RCW 43.01.036.

(2) This section expires July 1, 2027."

Correct the title.

EFFECT: Requires the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee to perform a study on the effect of the bill on housing rental markets across the state.
