(iv) Courses and course sequencing;

(v) The development, maintenance, and expansion of industry, labor, and community partnerships;

(viii) Alignment with postsecondary education and training programs;

(ix) The promotion of student, family, and community awareness of career and technical education core plus programs, including instructional offerings and potential work placement opportunities; and

(x) The development and expansion of a cohort of employers willing to hire and place students that have successfully completed career and technical education core plus programs."

EFFECT: (1) Directs the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) to establish an allied health provisions career and technical education program (Allied Health Program), removing "core plus" from the name of the program. 

(2) Modifies provisions governing the establishment of the Allied Health Program to specify that the program, in part, is for qualifying students pursuing industry-recognized nondegree credentials that "lead or articulate to" (rather than "articulate to") related, recognized nondegree credentials, two or four-year degrees, or both.

(3) Requires that curriculum and other instructional materials developed for the Allied Health Program reflect consideration of a specified list of issues that includes instructional, training and professional development, and community relationship issues. 

(4) Delays by two years the date by which curriculum and other instructional materials for the Allied Health Program must be available for use to the 2027-28 school year.

(5) Changes the name of the Statewide Career and Technical Education Core Plus Advancement Task Force to the Statewide Career and Technical Education Task Force (Task Force).

(6) Requires that one member on the Task Force be a career and technical education (CTE) core plus classroom instructor, instead of a CTE classroom instructor.

(7) Specifies that the Task Force, in making recommendations for a CTE core plus model framework, must consider, at a minimum, a specified list of issues that includes instructional, training and professional development, and community relationship issues.
