On page 3, line 21 of the striking amendment, after "state entity" insert ". "Contracting affiliation" also does not include arrangements where at least one entity in the arrangement has a publicly elected board of commissioners and is a public subdivision of the state, provided that such contracting affiliation fulfills the requirements of chapter 19.390 RCW"

EFFECT: Modifies the definition of "contracting affiliation"

to exclude arrangements where at least one entity has a publicly

elected board of commissioners and is a public subdivision of the

state, provided that such contracting affiliation fulfills the requirements of the chapter of state law that governs health care market participants.
