On page 1, line 25 of the striking amendment, after "(e)" insert "The tax in this section may only be imposed on a sale of, or charge made for, the furnishing of lodging of a short-term rental if the operator of the short-term rental property owns or operates more than one short-term rental property.

EFFECT: Provides that the short-term rental tax can only be imposed on a sale of lodging of a short-term rental if the operator of the property owns at least two short-term rental properties.
