| EFFECT: Modifies the definition of station area by removing all lots within one-half mile walking distance of a stop on a high capacity transportation system and adding all lots within one-half mile walking distance of a light rail system. Requires cities to allow residential and mixed-use development at a density of at least 3.5 floor area ratio on all lots within one-half mile walking distance of a stop on a light rail system, rather than one-half mile walking distance of a stop on a high capacity transportation system. |
