On page 376, line 14, increase the General Fund—State Appropriation (FY 2024) by $7,000,000
Adjust the total appropriation accordingly.
On page 378, after line 28, insert the following:
"(14) $7,000,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal year 2024 is provided solely for educational service districts to offer direct behavioral and mental health supports for students."
EFFECT: Provides funding for educational service districts to offer behavioral and mental health supports.
EXPENDITURE EFFECT (2023-2025): $7,000,000 Near General Fund—State/$7,000,000 Total Funds
