On page 1, line 19, after "RCW 46.61.502;" insert "or

(vii) A theft of a motor vehicle offense as defined in RCW 9A.56.065;"

On page 4, line 6, after "RCW," strike "or a driving under the influence offense under RCW 46.61.502" and insert "a driving under the influence offense under RCW 46.61.502, or a theft of a motor vehicle offense under RCW 9A.56.065"

EFFECT: Permits an officer to engage in a vehicle pursuit if the officer has reasonable suspicion a person inside the vehicle has committed or is committing theft of a motor vehicle.
