On page 14, line 16, after "third" insert "or subsequent"

On page 36, after line 11, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 32. Section 7 of this act takes effect January 1, 2025."

Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

On page 36, line 16, after "2" strike "through 12" and insert ", 6, 8 through 12,"

On page 36, beginning on line 29, after "providing" strike "an effective date" and insert "effective dates"

EFFECT: (1) Requires the court to reinstate 45 days of an individual's suspended sentence if the individual willfully abandons or demonstrates a consistent failure to comply with treatment on the individual's third or subsequent instance of being sentenced for possession under this act.

(2) Adds an effective date of January 1, 2025, for the requirement that the Washington State Patrol complete analysis of suspected drugs within 45 days of receipt of the request for analysis.
