EFFECT: Specifies that a "noncompetition covenant" does not include any covenant requiring an employee to adhere to the common law duty of loyalty to the employer during the term of the employment, thereby exempting those covenants from the restrictions in current law and the underlying bill. Specifies that an employer may enter into a covenant or other agreement with an employee requiring the employee to adhere to the common law duty of loyalty to the employer.
