EFFECT: Removes the requirement that the Washington State Patrol Firearms Background Check Program must annually verify that each person who has been issued a permit to purchase firearms remains eligible to possess firearms under state and federal law, and to revoke the permit of a person who is determined to be ineligible and provide notification of the revocation to the local law enforcement agency where the person resides.
