On page 27, beginning on line 4, strike all of section 14 and 15

Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Removes all changes to the statute governing dealer's licenses and dealer requirements, which include: prohibiting a firearm sale or transfer unless the purchaser or transferee presents a valid permit to purchase firearms; requiring a dealer to keep a record of all firearms sold or transferred (not just pistols and semiautomatic assault rifles); adding that the record of a firearm transfer must include the identification number of the purchaser's or transferee's permit to purchase firearms; requiring that the dealer transmit information from firearm transfer records to the Washington State Patrol Firearms Background Check Program, which must transmit these records to the Department of Licensing; and adding references to "or transferee" in places that refer to "purchaser." Removes the requirement that the DOL maintain application and transfer records for all firearms, and instead retains current law that DOL must maintain these records for pistols and semiautomatic assault rifles.
