On page 39, after line 23, insert the following:

"(16) Where a court has discretion under this section to order a sentencing enhancement to run consecutively or concurrently, the judicial officer must make written findings justifying its determination to run the enhancement either consecutively or concurrently."

EFFECT: Requires a judicial officer to make written findings justifying a determination to run eligible sentencing enhancements either consecutively or concurrently.
