On page 6, after line 6, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 5. A new section is added to chapter 43.330

RCW to read as follows:

Beginning July 1, 2026, and in compliance with RCW 43.01.036, the department of commerce shall submit annual reports to the legislature that detail any increased state spending on permanent supportive housing, transitional housing, indoor emergency housing, or indoor emergency shelter as result of this act."

Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
