| EFFECT: Authorizes the Governor, instead of the Department of Commerce, to take the following actions if dispute resolution between a city or county and an applicant or developer of permanent supportive housing, transitional housing, indoor emergency housing, or indoor emergency shelters (STEP housing) is unsuccessful: (1) Review a city or county's zoning ordinance, development regulations, or permit decision for compliance with requirements for STEP housing; (2) Direct a city or county to take corrective action for noncompliance; and (3) Direct the State Treasurer to withhold certain revenues if the city or county fails to take corrective action within a specified time. |
