EFFECT: Removes from the underlying bill the provisions pertaining to the maintenance of health care coverage, thereby restoring the current law requiring an employer to maintain an employee's health care coverage during the employee's family or medical leave only if the federal Family and Medical Leave Act requires it at any point during that same period.
