| EFFECT: Modifies provisions related to actions a tenant may take if a landlord increases rent above specified amounts and no exemption applies by removing references to remedies or relief available to the tenant under the Residential Landlord-Tenant Act, the Manufactured/Mobile Home Landlord-Tenant Act, or any other law.
