On page 6, after line 30, insert the following:
"(8) In adopting provisions of the International Wildland Urban Interface Code, the council may not incorporate appendix 104.4 of the International Wildland Urban Interface Code and may not prohibit persons from smoking on property they own within a specified distance of combustible materials or nonfire resistive vegetation."
| EFFECT: Prohibits the State Building Code Council (SBCC) from prohibiting smoking within a specified distance of combustible materials or nonfire resistive vegetation when adopting the state's wildland urban interface code. Prohibits the SBCC from adopting the portion of the International Wildland Urban Interface Code that imposes such requirements.
