On page 6, after line 30, insert the following:

"(8) In adopting provisions of the International Wildland Urban Interface Code, the council may not require a permit for fences over six feet tall and shall amend section 106.3 of the International Wildland Urban Interface Code to allow fences over six feet without a permit."

EFFECT: Requires the State Building Code Council to allow fences taller than six feet without a permit when adopting the International Wildland Urban Interface Code, and to amend provisions of the International Wildland Urban Interface Code that require a permit for fences taller than six feet.
