On page 6, after line 30, insert the following:

"(8) In adopting provisions of the International Wildland Urban Interface Code, the council may not require a property owner to obtain a permit to store tires for the property owner's vehicle on his or her property. If the council adopts section 106.2 of the International Wildland Urban Interface Code, the council must modify the language to exclude permits for storing tires on a property."

EFFECT: Prohibits the State Building Code Council (SBCC) from requiring a property owner to obtain a permit to store tires on his or her property and requires the SBCC to modify the portion of the International Wildland Urban Interface Code that requires such permits if that portion is adopted.
