On page 6, after line 30, insert the following:

"(8) In adopting provisions of the International Wildland Urban Interface Code, the council shall not require automatic sprinkler systems inside a residence and shall not incorporate section 602.1 of the International Wildland Urban Interface Code."

EFFECT: Prohibits the State Building Code Council (SBCC) from requiring automatic sprinkler systems inside a residence and prohibits the SBCC from adopting the portion of the International Wildland Urban Interface Code that requires automatic sprinkler systems.
