(c) ((To receive)) Receive prior notification when medical services, or medications not previously authorized by the parent or legal guardian, are being offered to their child, except where emergency medical treatment is required. In cases where emergency medical treatment is required, the parent and legal guardian must be notified as soon as practicable after the treatment or medication is rendered;

Reletter the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: (1) Restores provisions granting parents and guardians the right to receive prior notification when medical services are being offered to their child. (2) Makes the offering of medications not previously authorized by the parent or legal guardian subject to notification requirements for parents and legal guardians.
