EFFECT: Provides that a driver must have his or her vehicle reinstated to a product class if the vehicle lost eligibility in the six months prior to the effective date of the bill (rather than in the five years prior to the effective date of the bill). Allows requests for reinstatement to be made for six months following the effective date of the bill (rather than one year following the effective date of the bill).
