"(5) For purposes of this section:
(a) "Driver" has the same meaning as provided in RCW 46.72B.020 and also includes any driver or chauffer operating a vehicle for a luxury transportation service.
(b) "Luxury transportation service" includes any transportation network company, limousine service carrier or provider, or other provider where the company or provider contracts with drivers or otherwise arranges with drivers to offer prearranged rides or chauffer services in luxury vehicles owned or leased by the drivers."
| EFFECT: Provides that the requirements governing product classes in the underlying bill apply to any luxury transportation service, rather than any transportation network company. Defines "luxury transportation service" as any transportation network company, limousine service provider, or other provider where the company or provider contracts with drivers or otherwise arranges with drivers to offer prearranged rides or chauffer services in luxury vehicles owned or leased by the drivers.
