EFFECT: Removes language defining "government law enforcement agency," for the purpose of the eligibility requirements for police chiefs or marshals, as a general authority Washington law enforcement agency or a limited authority Washington law enforcement agency, or a state or federal governmental agency that is authorized by law to engage in or supervise the prevention, detection, investigation, or prosecution of, or the incarceration of any person for, any violation of law.
