On page 1, line 23 of the striking amendment, after "forfeiture" insert ", except for items in plain sight"

EFFECT: Limits the protection provided from civil forfeiture for a person who seeks medical assistance for a drug-related overdose or experiences a drug-related overdose and needs medical assistance to items that are not in plain sight.
