On page 1, line 11, after "income." insert "For residential housing that is owned by a person or household, the household’s monthly housing costs, which include mortgage principal, interest, property taxes, homeowner insurance, homeowner association fees, and land lease fees, may not exceed 38 percent of the household’s monthly income."

EFFECT: Adds a limiting percentage for residential housing owned by a person or household to the definition of affordable housing for qualifying projects that are eligible for a local sales tax remittance.
