EFFECT: Amends the statement on the voter registration challenge form notifying the challenger that their certification is subject to a penalty of perjury (punishable as a felony) to instead notify the challenger that their certification is subject to false swearing (punishable as a gross misdemeanor), thereby aligning it with other language in the act that makes it a crime of false swearing to knowingly provide false information as part of a voter registration challenge.
