On page 1, line 9, after "(1)" strike "A" and insert "(a) Except as provided in (b) of this subsection, a"

On page 2, after line 2, insert the following:

"(b) Nothing in (a) of this subsection applies to an enrollee under 18 years of age, unless an enrollee's parent or guardian has consented to the provisions of this section."

EFFECT: Limits the application of the 12-month hormone therapy refill requirement for prescription hormone therapy to health plan enrollees who are 18 years of age or older, unless an enrollee under age 18 has the consent of a parent or guardian.
