On page 3, line 8 of the striking amendment, after "grant." insert "However, a law enforcement agency that receives its primary funding from a city with a population of less than 200,000 persons does not have to impose the tax authorized in section 3 of this act."

EFFECT: Provides that law enforcement agencies that receive their primary funding from a city with a population of less than 200,000 persons does not have to impose the new sales and use tax to be eligible for the Criminal Justice Training Commission grants authorized in section 2 of this act.
