On page 3, line 8 of the striking amendment, after "grant." insert "However, a law enforcement agency that receives its primary funding from a county with a population of less than 200,000 persons does not have to impose the tax in section 3 of this act."

EFFECT: Provides that law enforcement agencies that receive their primary funding from a county with a population of less than 200,000 persons do not have to impose the new local sales and use tax to be eligible for the Criminal Justice Training Commission grants authorized in section 2 of this act.
