On page 21, after line 40, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 8. A new section is added to chapter 43.216 RCW under the subchapter heading "subsidized child care" to read as follows:
Provider attendance records submitted for subsidy payment or reimbursement must be independently verified by a monthly certification by the enrolled child's parent or guardian that the specific days billed match the child's actual attendance."
Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
