On page 8, after line 3, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. The department must obtain input from insurers and taxpayers subject to this act to improve efficiency in tax filing obligations. The department must issue recommendations to streamline processes for small business taxpayers in the state to simplify compliance and implementation."

Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Requires the Department of Revenue to consult taxpayers and insurers to improve efficiency in filing taxes.
