On page 8, after line 3 of the striking amendment, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 6. A new section is added to chapter 82.08 RCW to read as follows:

No sales tax may be applied to any services offered by an insurer that pays premium taxes pursuant to RCW 48.14.020 or RCW 48.14.0201 or an affiliate of an insurer that pays premium taxes in this state. For purposes of this subsection, "affiliate" means a person that directly or indirectly, through one or more intermediaries, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with another person."

Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
