On page 2, line 1 of the striking amendment, after "(iv)" insert "An au pair participant who has been granted a J-1 visa or other visa solely for participation in the federal department of state designated exchange visitor program governed by 22 C.F.R. Sec. 62.31 or its successor program;
(v)"
Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
| EFFECT: Provides that a "domestic worker" does not include any au pair participating in the United States Au Pair Program, thereby removing au pairs and their hiring entities from the underlying bill.
