On page 2, line 22, after "(b)" insert "If the separating employer is under contract for a public work under chapter 39.04 RCW, the disqualification imposed under this section remains in effect until the strike is terminated, unless the individual is exempt from the disqualification under subsection (2) of this section.

EFFECT: Excludes striking workers from qualifying for unemployment insurance benefits under the bill if the separating employer is under a public works contract.
