On page 308, line 30, increase the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal year 2026 by $1,023,000
On page 308, line 31, increase the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal year 2027 by $2,680,000
On page 308, line 32, correct the total.
On page 310, after line 12, insert the following:
"(7) $1,023,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal year 2026 and $2,680,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal year 2027 are provided solely for changes to the special education enrollment limit as specified in House Bill No. 1267 (special education funding)."
On page 313, line 14, increase the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal year 2026 by $32,846,000
On page 313, line 15, increase the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal year 2027 by $55,016,000
On page 313, line 18, correct the total.
On page 316, after line 19, insert the following:
"(14) $32,846,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal year 2026 and $55,016,000 of the general fund—state appropriation for fiscal year 2027 are provided solely for changes to the special education enrollment limit as specified in House Bill No. 1267 (special education funding)."
| EFFECT: Adds funding for House Bill 1267 (Special education funding), which removes the enrollment limit for districts if they have fewer than 2,500 students, received community impact safety net awards, or have at least 10 percent of enrollment with a military parent. The enrollment limit for remaining school districts is increased over four years until the 2028-29 school year, when the limit is removed.
FISCAL IMPACT (2025 Supplemental): None
FISCAL IMPACT (2025-27): Increases General Fund - State by $91,565,000.
FOUR-YEAR OUTLOOK EXPENDITURE EFFECT: Increases Near General Fund-State by $184,304,000.
