On page 2, line 25 of the striking amendment, after "supervision" insert ", after the juvenile has served a minimum of 45 days in confinement following the dispositional order to allow sufficient time for the victim to engage in safety planning and for appropriate planning to effectively support a community-based placement"

On page 10, line 7 of the striking amendment, after "supervision." insert "Any release ordered under this subsection (b) may only occur after the juvenile has served a minimum of 45 days in confinement following the review hearing to allow sufficient time for the victim to engage in safety planning and for appropriate planning to effectively support reentry."

EFFECT: Requires that a juvenile spend at least 45 days in confinement following a dispositional order or a review hearing during a juvenile's confinement that provides for community-based placement to allow sufficient time for the victim to engage in safety planning and for appropriate planning to effectively support a community-based placement or reentry.
